Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking a Director, IT Service Delivery, Talent and Culture, Treasury and Banking Services to drive technology solutions and lifecycle governance. You will lead delivery teams and architecture advisors, collaborating with partners to evolve services while promoting responsible AI adoption.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, change management and governance capabilities across Canada, with a hybrid work model and a focus on security, budget, and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant discipline (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience leading multiple project teams and managers.
• Strong leadership, curiosity and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience building business cases for IT projects and setting technology directions.
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, Agile and Lean approaches.
• Proven delivery of AI initiatives from ideation to production and adoption.
• Ability to develop people and support career growth.
• Understanding of governing responsible AI, data quality, cybersecurity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT services contact for Talent and Culture, Treasury and Banking Services.
• Advise partners on technology solution selection, acquisition and integration.
• Lead IT services delivery aligned with VP IT objectives, ensuring quality, timelines and budgets.
• Oversee delivery performance focusing on security, vendor management and production environments.
• Ensure availability and optimal management of resources to deliver backlog.
• Ensure adherence to project management, design, development, procurement and compliance standards.
• Manage needs, applications, information, data, infrastructure and services within your area.
• Maintain proactive communication with business-area managers on projects and service continuity.
• Plan and manage department resources and report results to senior leadership.
• Foster HR practices that promote development, engagement and retention of talent.
• Lead adoption of AI to increase business value and secure delivery.
• Maximize responsible AI use throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Develop AI skills within teams and lead by example with tools like Copilot.
• Collaborate with other areas and service owners to align applications and tech environments.
