Job summary

TD Bank in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist – AI BISO to guide secure AI adoption and governance. You will advise partners, align AI security with enterprise architecture, and drive risk-based decisions on complex AI initiatives.

The role demands a senior-level background in information security, risk management, and AI governance, with deep knowledge of relevant frameworks and strong executive communication. On-site, full-time, 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in information security, technology risk, cloud security, cyber risk, enterprise security architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience with recognized AI risk and governance frameworks, such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 23894, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP, or MITRE guidance.
• Experience leading risk and control assessments for complex technology initiatives and developing practical mitigation plans.
• Knowledge of AI security risks, including secure AI development, model or agent risks, validation, monitoring, explainability, robustness, and adversarial threats.
• Experience integrating security controls into enterprise architecture, technology platforms, and third-party risk processes.
• Security, technology risk, or AI governance certification; regulated-industry experience; and experience with AI-related incident response are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI security strategies, standards, policies, and control expectations aligned with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.
• Advise stakeholders on AI risks, control design, control gaps, mitigation, and escalation.
• Lead risk and control assessments for AI applications, models, agents, third parties, infrastructure, and platforms.
• Oversee AI security governance, risk reporting, control effectiveness metrics, and remediation plans.
• Monitor AI threats, adversarial techniques, regulatory developments, and industry practices; translate findings into security improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and executive-ready guidance, and integrate security components into enterprise architecture.
