TALTEK is looking to fill the following position for one of its clients:

PERMANENT - IT Director – Dynamics 365

HYBRID - MONTREAL

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director – Dynamics 365 for one of our clients in Montreal. This role will lead a Dynamics 365 back-office team of 10 to 15 professionals responsible for projects, implementations, support, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 modules including Finance & Operations (F&O), Human Resources (HR), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Customer Service. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in budgeting (OPEX, CAPEX), team management, and project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 10 to 15 IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Dynamics 365 projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Dynamics 365 modules, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Provide high-level support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Work closely with the VP of IT and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to optimize the use of Dynamics 365.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Dynamics 365 (F&O, HR, CRM, Customer Service).
  • Proven experience in managing and leading IT teams.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project deliveries.
  • Experience in managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 or project management (asset)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Other Requirements
  • Bilingual French and English oral and written - This role requires frequent work with teams located outside Quebec and being able to communicate with them both orally and in writing.
  • Candidate must have permits to work in Canada.
  • Hybrid – 2 days in the office.
