Job summary

Englobe Corp. seeks a Director of Finance (Crozier, Englobe) to lead finance, accounting, treasury and reporting. This role streamlines budgeting, payroll, and reporting, delivering comprehensive financial-status reports for senior management to enable growth.

The Director will guide investments, risk management and strategic financial planning. The position requires IFRS expertise, CPA designation, and extensive leadership experience, with a strong track record of driving operational efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 15+ years of proven accounting experience, with 10+ years in finance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysis skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with senior management and board presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring IFRS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls for revenue, costs, budgets, and expenditures.
• Set financial benchmarks, budgets, and monitoring standards with senior leadership on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Analyze variances, achieve budget goals, and take corrective actions.
• Develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Provide strategic financial counsel to the President and Board on investments and risk management.
• Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements clearly and timely.

The Director of Finance will serve as Crozier’s lead finance executive and be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, treasury, and reporting activities. As a strong communicator, you will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. The Director will produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management, to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

Your main responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Manager of Finance, oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.
• In conjunction with the President and senior leadership team, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Achieve budget goals with proper analysis, and corrective action.
• Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies.
• Act as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial counsel to the President and the Board on investments, growth initiatives, and risk management.
• Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

What makes you unique

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field; CPA designation required;
• 15+ years of proven accounting experience, with 10+ years of experience in a finance leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
• Extremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial data analysis.
• Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
• Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners.
• Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
