Job summary

KV Capital in Canada is seeking a Director of Funding & Servicing for the Insured Lending portfolio. You will lead CMHC loan funding, servicing, and compliance, ensuring strong controls and regulatory alignment across the loan life cycle.

The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on scalable processes. You will partner with underwriting, capital markets, finance, and third-party providers to drive performance, reporting, and investor satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively senior experience in multifamily mortgage lending, CMHC lending, funding, servicing, and related operations.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, security registration, closing processes, and funding requirements.
• Experience in capital markets, loan sales, securitization, and third-party oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMHC loan funding, closing, disbursement, and servicing activities for insured portfolio.
• Ensure funding conditions and CMHC program requirements are satisfied before funding.
• Oversee administration, servicing, defaults, and risk management across loan life cycle.
• Coordinate with underwriting, finance, operations, and CMHC, plus external service providers.
