Job summary

MCAP, one of Canada’s largest independent mortgage finance companies, seeks a Sr. Director of Commercial Mortgages in Vancouver.

The role drives profitability of MCAP’s commercial term lending, develops and manages borrower, broker and investor relationships, and leads CMHC-related processes. You will assess loan submissions, structure terms, and coordinate with underwriting and funding teams to advance transactions through closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the commercial mortgage market.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred.
• Familiarity with CMHC policy and the multi-family marketplace is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and manage relationships with clients and industry participants.
• Origination and structuring of commercial mortgages placed with MCAP investors.
• Loan management to ensure credit quality and timelines from inception to funding.
• Investor marketing and preparation of market intelligence for existing and prospective investors.
