Une entreprise de recrutement dynamique recherche un professionnel passionné du tourisme pour diriger des initiatives de vente et de marketing au sein de l'industrie hôtelière en Colombie-Britannique. En tant que gestionnaire, vous serez responsable de l'analyse des marchés émergents et de la gestion des relations avec divers intervenants pour stimuler la croissance et l'engagement des membres. Identify and secure new group opportunities in MICE and sports segments to drive overnight demand.
Nurture existing corporate, association, and event relationships; expand accounts through targeted sales missions and trade shows.
Oversee lead-management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Simpleview); distribute qualified leads to member properties and track conversions.
Guide external agencies on brand strategy, digital media, and conversion optimisation; evaluate performance for continuous improvement.
Represent the sector at priority industry events and conferences across Canada, managing budgets and ROI reporting.
Analyse emerging markets, sponsorship prospects, and product development opportunities to diversify revenue streams.
Serve as primary liaison to hotel / motel GMs, city officials, tourism partners, suppliers, and the Board.
Prepare marketing plans, MRDT reports, and grant applications; monitor expenditures against approved budgets and chart of accounts.
Produce association newsletters and performance dashboards, sharing industry intelligence and KPI results with members.
Champion a growth-oriented culture across all programs; refine member-engagement structures to maximise participation and value.
In-depth knowledge of BC’s tourism, hotel, and meetings landscape.
4-5 years’ progressive sales or marketing success within accommodation, tourism, or destination management; supervisory experience an asset.
Demonstrated ability to interpret digital campaign metrics (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) and transform insights into action.
Proven track record with multiple stakeholders—balancing member, agency, and municipal interests.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience with Simpleview, Cvent, or comparable CRM/lead-distribution tools.
Strategic thinker with robust financial acumen, deadline discipline, and a “hands-on” work style.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field (MBA a plus).
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for regional travel.
