Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Director of Business Development for Canada, Nuclear and Environment to expand our client base and win strategic work across the country. You will report to senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to position our nuclear and environment services for major opportunities.

The role requires deep BD experience in Canada, strong relationships with public-sector clients, and a proven track record of closing complex contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development within engineering or infrastructure services.
• Established relationships with municipal, provincial and federal clients across Canada, starting in Ontario.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience leading negotiations and closing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD strategies to grow Egis’ client and market portfolio across Canada, with a primary focus on Nuclear and Environment in Canada and Ontario to start.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities across the full Egis services portfolio, build lasting client relationships, and lead the pursuit lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract close in collaboration with the Tender Unit for larger/strategic mandates.
• Mentor the business development seller-doer team, develop pursuit leadership, proposal writing, and client management; ensure CRM and pipeline governance are maintained.
