Job summary

T.H.S. Veterinary Mobility Center Inc. in Regina seeks a Director of Human Resources & Administration to lead all HR and administrative operations for the clinic.

The role entails full cycle recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and development of robust HR policies in compliance with Saskatchewan regulations. You will oversee performance management, leadership coaching for the management team, and ensure licensing verification for regulated staff, while driving culture-building

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle recruitment and onboarding, and support workforce planning, for all clinic roles
• Oversee performance management processes, leadership development, and coaching for the management team
• Develop and maintain HR tools, policies, compliance, and the Employee Handbook in alignment with Saskatchewan legislation
• Oversee SVMA CE tracking and licence verification for regulated staff
• Lead engagement surveys, retention strategies, and culture building initiatives
• Build and manage staff schedules across all departments to ensure operational coverage
• Administer payroll, benefits, and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Oversee administrative systems and internal communications, and support vendor relationships
• Support development and implementation of operational systems (e.g., inventory management) in partnership with the Director of Operations
• Serve as cross trained backup for designated financial and building operations functions requiring sign off
• Act as the people lead when the Manager, Clinical Floor is away
• Provide performance management and coaching for the Manager, Clinical Floor
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure unified leadership and cohesive management practices
