Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Sr. Director, Infrastructure will lead and execute the enterprise-wide IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role involves shaping the future of Network and Infrastructure, emphasizing resilience, security, and operational excellence.

General Accountabilities:

  1. Establish the infrastructure team's mission, vision, strategy, service offerings, and workforce to support business and IT initiatives.
  2. Implement innovative infrastructure solutions, including cloud computing, to enhance capabilities and employee experience.
  3. Enhance IT infrastructure resilience through strategies that improve reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  4. Plan and oversee the installation of infrastructure hardware and software.
  5. Manage security solutions like firewalls, anti-virus, and NAC.
  6. Build a diverse leadership team and define reporting structures.
  7. Hire, train, and manage staff performance and development.
  8. Support personnel matters and motivate staff.
  9. Collaborate with external service providers effectively.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, with at least ten years of relevant experience, including five years in management.
  2. 10+ years of experience with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  3. Experience managing and modernizing IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, networks, and storage.
  4. Extensive experience with enterprise LANs, Cisco ACI, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
  5. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
  6. Experience with DevOps practices and ITIL standards.
  7. Knowledge of network cabling and circuit installations.
  8. Experience with public cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  9. Practical experience with VMware and Software-defined Networks.
  10. Familiarity with IT services management best practices.
  11. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
  12. Financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
  13. Experience in regulated industries and compliance documentation is a plus.
  14. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous.
