Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the Sr. Director, Infrastructure will lead and execute the enterprise-wide IT strategy. They will ensure the infrastructure and operations strategy is aligned to deliver business value and play a key role in shaping the future of Network and Infrastructure, emphasizing resilience, security, and operational excellence.

General Accountabilities:
  1. Establish the infrastructure team’s mission, vision, strategy, service offerings, and workforce to support business and IT initiatives.
  2. Implement innovative infrastructure and operations solutions, including cloud computing, to enhance capabilities and employee experience.
  3. Enhance IT infrastructure resilience through strategies that improve reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  4. Plan and oversee the installation of infrastructure hardware and software across the organization.
  5. Manage security solutions such as firewalls, anti-virus, NAC, etc.
  6. Build and develop a diverse leadership team and reporting structure.
  7. Hire, train, and manage employee performance and productivity.
  8. Develop staff training and personal development plans, coaching managers and staff.
  9. Support personnel matters and motivate the team.
  10. Manage external service providers effectively.
Selection Criteria:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in management.
  2. Extensive experience (10+ years) with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  3. Proven track record in managing and modernizing IT infrastructure, including data centers, servers, networks, storage, and databases.
  4. Deep understanding of virtualization, networking, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  5. Experience managing enterprise LANs, Cisco ACI, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
  6. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and servers.
  7. Experience establishing DevOps practices and ITIL frameworks.
  8. Knowledge of network cabling, circuit installations, and handoffs/termination/demarcation.
  9. Cloud engineering experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  10. Experience designing and implementing VMware and Software-defined Networks.
  11. Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) best practices.
  12. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders and presenting to executives.
  13. Financial acumen in analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  14. Experience in regulated industries and dealing with compliance, audits, and controls is preferred.
  15. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous.
