This role currently works from home two days a week and three days a week at our head office in Burnaby, BC.
The Director, Emerging & Mid-Market Accounts leads a team of Account Executives and Account Managers and ensures workforce planning meets departmental requirements.
The Director develops strategic and tactical plans that align with company strategy and directs the execution of department activities. This includes defining the annual commission plans for direct reports to deliver on sales, retention, and profitability goals.
The Director collaborates with other leaders to prioritize projects, mitigate risks, and influence major decisions affecting company strategy, and delivers reports, briefings, and presentations to stakeholders.
This position requires an individual that is willing to hold and maintain a Life Agent License through the Insurance Council of BC. If the successful applicant does not have a license, we will assist with the educational and filing costs associated with obtaining a first license. Pacific Blue Cross also pays the continuing educational and filing costs associated with the regular maintenance of your license. Work involves frequent travel within the Lower Mainland and periodic travel outside the Lower Mainland.
