BC Housing is seeking a skilled Business Continuity Advisor to design, govern, and continuously improve the Commission’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) function. The role will establish the BCP framework and ensure alignment with strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.
The successful candidate will lead BCP maturity assessments, report to senior leadership, and collaborate with diverse teams. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and one day WFH for the first year.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY ADVISOR:
$86,007.24 - $97,679.59 Annually
Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, the Business Continuity Advisor is responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the Commission’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) function. He/She/They develops and maintains the BCP Framework and ensures alignment with organizational strategy, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations. The position sets performance metrics for BCP and leads the assessment of BCP maturity, reporting findings to Executive and the Board of Commissioners. The role works closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of BCP awareness and continuous improvement, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership. This position is hybrid and will require 4 days in office/1 day WFH for at least the first year.
