Job summary

A supportive residential care provider in Ontario is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving personal and educational goals. Applicants must have a relevant post-secondary degree or diploma and experience working with clients requiring direct support. The position offers flexible shifts, including day, evening, and weekend hours across multiple locations. Qualifications

• Experience managing and responding to crisis situations.
• Possess First Aid/CPR - Level C certification.
• Related education, with experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, client-centered programming.
• Assist residents with Life Skills Training and Educational Programs.
• Implement therapeutic programming focused on personal development.

Skills

Experience working with children and/or youth with disabilities

Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in Trauma Informed Care

Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
