Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a temporary 3-month assignment in Waldheim, Canada. The DSP assists individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, helping them access homes and communities and participate in routines and activities.

A vulnerable sector check and transportation are required, with preferred 3–6 months of related experience. Support includes navigating community connections and ensuring individuals can live fully and safely in

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professional works with people who experience developmental disabilities in homes and communities, assisting with daily life to help them live fully in the community.
• Support connections to enable residents to participate in community activities and daily routines.

Temp. Full Time Direct Support Professional - Waldheim

31 hours per week, working in an already established rotation.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community.

Requirements:

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
