Karis Disability Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live independently and participate in daily activities.

The position offers days, evenings, alternating weekends, and a path for tuition reimbursement, benefits, and career development. Reliable transportation is essential to reliably reach client locations and support schedules across multiple sites.

Qualifications

TAYS, Apartment setting, criminal justice, mental health, risk management, addiction, trauma informed, FASD experience preferred.
Hourly $25.18-$29.46 CAD

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
