Job summary

Karis Disability Services is seeking casual Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily living within homes and communities. Shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends, offering flexible scheduling.

Successful candidates will provide person-centered support, liaising with family and care teams to promote independence and community participation. Accessibility accommodations will be provided upon request during the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment) preferred.
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary education preferred.

CASUAL DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL-Warman

Two casual positions open. The successful candidates will be required to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community.
