Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service for seniors. You will oversee operations, menu planning, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards in a warm, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes staff development, customer service, and collaboration with suppliers and partners to maintain high dining standards and residents’ satisfaction.

Formación

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in food service (retirement, healthcare, or hospitality).
• At least one year of front-of-house and customer service experience.
• Post-secondary diploma in Food & Beverage Management or equivalent; chef qualifications and Food Service Supervisor certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily and special event menus meeting dietary needs.
• Supervise and develop food services staff including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, optimize purchasing, and monitor food and labour costs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and provincial health regulations.
