Job summary

Walmart Canada in Hamilton is seeking a Digital department leadership support to assist in directing processes, train associates, and uphold high customer service standards on the sales floor. The role reports to the Digital Fulfillment Coach and Store Management Team and helps coordinate daily priorities and task execution.

You will lead team huddles, monitor productivity, schedule coverage, and assist with recruiting and growth conversations while maintaining a safe, clean store environment

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Assists in providing direction and co-ordination of task completion as per priorities from the Digital Fulfillment Coach and Store Management Team.
• Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily picking and dispensing tasks.
• Assesses the overall presentation of Departments and in-stock items, noting deficiencies for corrective action.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads daily Team Huddle at shift start, provides updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team, identifies training opportunities and develops associates through teaching and training.
• Maintains a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment per policy, completing safety logs and ensuring displays/fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management. Participates in performance management and growth conversations for Associates.

Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily picking and dispensing tasks.3. Assesses the overall presentation of Departments and instock, noting deficiencies for corrective action.4. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead.6. Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates, validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
