Job summary

The University of Alberta is seeking a Learning Assessment Centre (LAC) Coordinator to manage external exam clients and coordinate scheduling, delivery and support within a high-priority testing environment.

You will liaise with institutions, guide policy-compliant workflows, and train proctors while ensuring accurate timelines and strong customer service for faculty and students on campus.

Qualifications

• University Diploma or equivalent experience in an academic or testing centre.
• Understanding of FOIPP and Human Rights legislation in student interactions.
• Excellent liaison and in-person consultation abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace and LMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop an effective booking process for students and exam vendors.
• Coordinate with external institutions on exam setup, policies, incidents and results.
• Maintain exam security measures for high-stakes testing.
• Manage communications between LAC, external vendors and candidates.
• Create staff training guides and policy documentation.
