Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Dietary Aide in Oakville, Ontario to support meal service in an assisted living or medical facility. You will assist with basic food preparation, serve meals, and maintain dining spaces while following therapeutic diets and safety standards.

You will be responsible for sanitation, HACCP compliance, and clean, efficient service during shifts. The role requires a Food Handler Certification and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience as dietary aide or in hospitality and customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions.
• Good time-management and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow WHMIS and MSDS guidelines when using chemicals, cleaning, and sanitizing agents.
• Support with special function catering as delegated.
