Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in an assisted living or medical facility. You will follow therapeutic diets and portion standards while maintaining safe, clean dining spaces.

You will work with HACCP guidelines, WHMIS, and sanitation rules, perform routine cleaning, restock service areas, and support catering for special events as needed. Canadian work experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in dietary aide roles or in hospitality and customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals according to instructions.
• Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically capable of performing the duties.

Responsibilities
