Job summary

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)

• Secondary School Education Diploma.
• Certificate in Basic Food Safety or Food Safety and Sanitation.
• Health Care Food Service Certificate preferred.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Computer skills to include Outlook, Order entry, Basic Word, CBORD, Safety Monitor Pro, knowledge of intranet navigation.
• Understanding of WHMIS, Infection Control, Family and Patient Centered Care.
• Ability to handle cash and make change.
• One year Food Services experience in a Health Care setting.
• General Therapeutic Diet Knowledge preferred.
• Satisfactory attendance.
