Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Toronto is seeking a Dietary Aide to create welcoming dining experiences for residents, delivering meals with warmth and attention to detail. You'll join a team in a fast-paced setting, handle tableside orders, maintain a safe dining room, and contribute to a caring, inclusive culture that supports residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
• Experience as server or in customer service role.

Are you passionate about creating a welcoming dining experience for older adults? As a Dietary Aide at Chartwell, you’ll ensure residents and guests enjoy delicious meals served with warmth and attention to detail. Your friendly service, organization, and commitment to quality will help make every mealtime special.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
