Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in London, Ontario is hiring a Dietary Aide to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will serve meals with warmth, ensure safety, and support a smooth dining operation.

The role requires secondary schooling, a Food Handler Certification, and previous server or customer service experience. You’ll value teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver tableside food and beverage orders promptly and professionally.

• Set up the dining room and clear tables following Chartwell standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Wash, dry, and store dishes, and equipment while following all health & safety rules.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
