Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences invites applications for a Server in Victoria, BC. You will take orders, deliver meals, and help create a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and guests, focusing on accuracy and hospitality.

Bring your customer service energy to a fast-paced dining room, assisting with setup, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety. Training is provided for required certifications and growth opportunities exist within Chartwell.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a server in a hospitality/food service setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain—training provided.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Sever experience
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain- training provided)
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Enthusiasm for creating positive dining experiences
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle food service equipment
• Comfortable working in a hot dining room environment
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
