Job summary

MasterTech in Dundas, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5–8). This Shop Tech role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to keep the fleet running.

Candidates should have 4+ years of heavy‑duty diesel experience, preferably with 310T/310S license or as an apprentice, and be proficient with OEM diagnostic software; welding/fabrication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Technicians preferred (310T, 310S) or apprentice.
• 4+ years of experience on medium to heavy duty diesel trucks.
• Proficient with OEM diagnostic software.
• Welding and fabrication skills are preferred.

Job description

MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Diesel Truck Technician in Dundas, ON.

This is a Shop Tech role, responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5 - class 8).

Compensation:

• $45.00 to $46.00/hour
• Excellent benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, RRSP match, etc.
• PTO and holidays

Shift:

• flexible start times from 6AM - 8AM, Monday to Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Technicians are preferred (310T, 310S), or apprentice.
• 4+ years of experience working on medium to heavy duty diesel trucks.
• Proficient with OEM diagnostic software.
• Welding and fabrication skills are preferred.
