Job summary

MasterTech seeks an experienced Diesel Truck Technician in Dundas, ON to join our shop team. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and repair on a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5–8) using OEM diagnostic software and best practices.

The role offers a direct on-site position with flexible start times from 6AM–8AM, Monday to Friday, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and RRSP match. Prior welding/fabrication skills are a plus for this busy shop.

Qualifications

• Licensed technicians preferred (310T/310S) or apprentice.
• 4+ years of experience working on medium to heavy diesel trucks.
• Proficient with OEM diagnostic software.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repair on a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5–8).
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software to identify and fix issues.
• Complete repairs and component replacements to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
• Assist with welding and fabrication as required.

MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Diesel Truck Technician in Dundas, ON.

This is a Shop Tech role, responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of diesel trucks (class 5 - class 8).

Compensation:

• $45.00 to $46.00/hour
• Excellent benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, RRSP match, etc.
• PTO and holidays

Shift:

• flexible start times from 6AM - 8AM, Monday to Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Technicians are preferred (310T, 310S), or apprentice.
