Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority in Central Zone is hiring a DI Technical Assistant for Diagnostic Imaging. The position is permanent part-time (42.5 hours biweekly) with hourly pay of $23.07–$26.44.

You will assist patients, handle transfers, and manage patient data entry, while supporting non-patient care tasks in a busy imaging department. Qualified candidates have Grade 12, computer data-entry experience, and strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• We would love to hear from you if you have Grade 12 or equivalent.
• One year knowledge of computer systems regarding entering, updating, and retrieving patient information.
• Able to set priorities.
• Medical Terminology Course an asset (former GASHA).
• Experience in Diagnostic Imaging an asset.
• Effective organization and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, perform transfers, and enter computer radiographic information data.
• Support Diagnostic Imaging activities with non-patient care tasks.
