Job summary

Alamos Gold Inc. in Dubreuilville, ON, is seeking a Dewatering Technician for Island Gold District operations. You will operate site equipment and perform maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience as a laborer/equipment operator, plus certification in slinging/rigging and a mechanical mindset. Expect 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour days, and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience as a laborer and equipment operator with demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Completed Secondary School Diploma or GED.
• Slinging and rigging training completed.
• Post-secondary mechanical program or trade apprenticeship is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude with diesel pump sets, pipe fitting and HDPE piping knowledge.
• Experience operating telehandlers and skid steers.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and follow company safety policies.
• Meet site water management KPI tasks including pumping and HDPE piping work.
• Operate telehandler, skid steer, light towers and diesel pump sets.
• Participate in safety toolbox meetings.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment in a safe, orderly manner.
