Job summary

Alamos Gold Inc. is seeking a Dewatering Millwright for the Island Gold District in Dubreuilville, Ontario. The role covers maintenance, repair, and service activities with a 7-on/7-off 12-hour shift, and requires reading blueprints, pump work, and rigging. Camp accommodation and travel allowance are provided as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in a dynamic mining environment with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year apprenticeship or 5+ years of millwright experience.
• Certified 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) preferred.
• Proficiency with Blueprint reading and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Prepare layouts for pump and piping installations.
• Maintain, rebuild and install pump assemblies.
• Welding/cutting experience is an asset.
• Mobile diesel mechanical experience is advantageous.
• Rigging and hoisting experience required.
• Operate equipment (Backhoe, Skid Steer, Loader, Service Truck with Jib) as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
