Job summary

Realign Llc is seeking an experienced DevOps Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning and delivery of complex DevOps initiatives in a Toronto/ON setting. You will coordinate multiple squads and cross-functional teams, manage delivery plans and dependencies, and drive governance to ensure on-time delivery with clear ownership and risk management.

The role requires strong PM experience with practical DevOps knowledge, software delivery lifecycles, and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

PM experience delivering complex technology initiatives across multiple squads and enterprise teams.
Practical understanding of DevOps, software delivery, CI/CD, security controls, source-code management, or engineering enablement.
Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle: repos, build pipelines, security scanning, deployments, approvals, environments, production support.
Strong ability to create integrated plans, manage critical paths, dependencies, milestones, and cross-team deliverables.
Excellent risk, issue, dependency, change, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate technical delivery details and business impacts to senior leadership.
Proven facilitation, written communication, and executive reporting skills.
Experience in matrixed environments with teams not reporting directly to PM.
Self-directed, pragmatic, outcome-focused and able to bring structure to evolving initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of complex DevOps initiatives.
Develop and maintain delivery plans covering milestones, dependencies, environments, testing, approvals, and readiness.
Coordinate delivery across DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, security, ServiceNow, application, data, QA and support teams.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Architects, Engineers, and security teams.
Establish governance, cadence, decision paths, delivery controls and escalation mechanisms.
Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and changes.
Drive action closure and resolve delivery gaps or blockers.
Coordinate test planning, UAT, production-readiness reviews and post-implementation validation.
Prepare executive status reports with progress, milestones, forecasts, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
Coordinate stakeholder communications, demonstrations, readiness activities, support planning and adoption activities.
Ensure deliverables and ownership are documented and transitioned, apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.
