Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Canada is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to own software project delivery from planning through release. You will coordinate developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to keep projects progressing against clear timelines and expectations.

The role emphasizes hands-on project management, requirements clarification, delivery tracking, risk management, and release coordination, with a focus on delivering software reliably and on time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional project management experience.
• Experience managing software development projects from planning through release.
• Experience creating and maintaining delivery plans and tracking progress.
• Collaborating with developers, QA, and business stakeholders on requirements and scope.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ownership mindset with proactive risk identification.
• Nice to have: software development or data engineering background.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira or Azure DevOps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own software projects end to end from planning through release.
• Build and maintain delivery plans with clearly defined tasks, owners, milestones, and deadlines.
• Track project progress, identify delays or risks early, and drive recovery actions.
• Work with developers and QA teams to resolve blockers and maintain momentum.
• Clarify requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into actionable development tasks.
• Manage project scope and change requests, assessing impact on timelines and delivery.
• Plan and coordinate software releases, including readiness checks and QA alignment.
• Provide clear updates on status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Maintain strong coordination across technical and business teams to keep priorities aligned.
