Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a Development Miner for underground development at the West Cache Gold Project in Timmins, Ontario. You will perform drilling, blasting, scaling, and ground support while operating jumbos, bolters, and scoops.

The role requires 2+ years of underground development experience, a valid Common Core certification, and a strong safety record. Competitive wage and site-specific benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of underground mining experience in development (conventional).
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
• Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground development activities including drilling, blasting, scaling, and installing ground support.
• Operate and maintain mining equipment such as jumbos, bolters, and scoops.
• Ensure compliance with Dumas and site safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Shift: 12 Hour shifts

Wage: $67.00 - $81.50/HR

Potential Renumeration: KPI / Retention Bonus – Referral Bonus
