Job summary

Dumas Contracting Ltd. is seeking a Development Miner in Timmins, Ontario, to perform underground development activities including drilling, blasting, scaling and ground support installation.

You will operate equipment such as jumbos, bolters and scoops, ensuring strict safety protocols and routine maintenance. The role requires at least 2 years of underground mining experience with development work, plus knowledge of drilling/blasting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of underground mining experience, preferably in development.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques, required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments, required.

Position: Development Miner.

Company: Dumas Contracting Ltd.

Business Address: 865 Mountjoy Street South, Timmins, ON, P4N 7W7, Canada.

Work Location/Project: Near Timmins, Ontario.

Rotation: Dependent on Project Site – 5/2, 7/7, 14/14.

Shift: Dependent on Project Site – 10.5HRs, 11HRs, 12HRs.

Wage: $39.00/HR & Overtime + Potential for discretionary performance-based bonuses.

Employment Terms: Permanent Full-Time.

Language of Work: English.
