TK Mining & Construction is actively recruiting Underground Development Miners for an upcoming underground mining project in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area.

We are hiring for Scoop Operators and Conventional Miners, with a 14/14 FIFO rotation. Base wage up to $32/hour and bonus potential up to $65/hour, with total earnings up to $100/hour. Work is in a demanding underground environment, with overtime per Ontario standards.

TK Mining & Construction is actively recruiting skilled and experienced Underground Development Miners for an upcoming underground mining project in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area.

We are looking for experienced underground professionals who are comfortable working in a development mining environment and operating as part of a safe, productive, high-performing crew.

Positions We’re Hiring

We are accepting applications for:

• Scoop Operators
• Conventional Miners

Applicants with multiple underground competencies, equipment experience, tickets, or cross-training are strongly encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule

• Fly-In / Fly-Out (FIFO)
• 14 days on / 14 days off
• Underground mining environment
• Long-term/project-based opportunities

Compensation

Compensation may include:

• Base wage up to $32/hour
• Performance / production bonus opportunity up to $65/hour
• Total earning potential approaching $100/hour
• Overtime paid in accordance with applicable Ontario employment standards
• Benefits and paid time off where applicable

Final compensation will depend on position, experience, qualifications, performance, and project requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Successful applicants should have:

• Development mining experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating underground mining equipment relevant to the position
• Valid underground mining certifications and required tickets
• Strong understanding of underground safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a development crew
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and a 14/14 rotation
• Willingness and ability to work in demanding underground conditions
