What You’ll Need

• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core with specialty modules relevant to underground construction, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of underground mining or underground construction experience

• Strong personal safety record and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to meet all site access, medical surveillance, and respirator fit-testing requirements
• Canadian citizenship or written authorization to work in Canada and current residency in Canada

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Additional Common Core specialty modules (shotcrete, concrete, equipment operation)
• Trade skills such as carpentry, pipefitting, welding, or cutting and burning
• Rigging and hoisting training, overhead crane operator certification
• Experience with underground mining contractors on development or construction projects
• Experience at remote or fly-in/fly-out project sites
• Standard First Aid/CPR certification
