Job description

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, resourceful, proactive person who can hit the ground running on day one.

In this position, you will report to the VP Development and will focus on our diverse and complex residential and mixed-use projects. Our projects are located in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, and you will be responsible for managing projects from the pre-construction to occupancy phases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for leading the execution of multiple projects, including leading internal and external teams in delivering successful projects, taking responsibility for the design approval and delivery, under the guidance of the VP Development
• Coordinate and execute all meetings with consultants, contractors, municipal staff, and council meetings as required in a professional manner.
• Organize team contributors to execute project tasks to achieve project objectives and schedule.
• Maintaining current project proforma models and schedules.
• Manage project budgets and schedules throughout the life cycle of projects.
• Oversee and responsible for consultant organization and communications (RFP's, contracts meeting documentation, deliverables, and contracts.
• Manage projects through all legal and land title processes and assist with project legal matters (housing agreements, easements, rights of ways, bylaws, strata plans, disclosure statements).
• Provide periodic progress reports to the senior executives and other stakeholders, including capital partners and lenders.
• Represent Ledcor professionally at industry events and public engagements being the public interface of the company with the community.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years' experience within a development, architecture, real estate business with full cycle development experience. At least some, if not all experience should be within a residential development management position.
• An understanding of proformas, lease agreements and an interest in design are important.
• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, or a similar field.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel, and Sketchup is an asset.
