The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is seeking a Development Engineer to coordinate, review and approve subdivision engineering submissions and site plans, and to prepare subdivision agreements and monitoring documentation. The role also involves preparing Council reports and by-laws related to subdivisions, including approvals, street naming and addressing.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree, PE(C) designation, and 3–5 years in municipal development and site plan

Competenze

Four-year Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
Professional Engineer (PEO) and/or CET designation.
Minimum 3 years municipal construction inspection and design experience.
5 years in subdivision and site plan agreement administration.
Ability to read civil drawings and perform stormwater calculations.
Strong MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, GIS, and SWM software skills.
Knowledge of planning processes.
