Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking a Development Coordinator to join our exciting organization! This position is responsible for the support and organization of the development team. The key areas of responsibility include, research, filing of applications, follow up on all aspects of the process and documentation and organization of all activities conducted within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Track project design coordination
  • Work directly with Construction team to ensure flow of communication is maintained
  • Assist with project budget research and creation
  • Assist with projections and draws for projects
  • Liaise with Quantity Surveyor and track all adjustments
  • Support land due diligence
  • Track progress and record meeting minutes where appropriate
  • Support the Development team in obtaining permits
  • Document development and support with administrative duties
  • Create and maintain highly organized and detailed records of all project development activities
  • Perform research for the development team:
    • Land
    • Market
    • Municipal
    • Buyer/Owner
    • Design
Qualifications And Experience
  • High school diploma, GED or other equivalent
  • Architectural or Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred
  • Experience in administration
  • Exposure to development and construction
  • Contract and/or legal document exposure
  • Advanced computer literacy including advanced working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email required

Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,000
