What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Identify, research, prospect, and site land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects
  2. Work on all initiatives related to site acquisition, financing, and development of utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects
  3. Negotiate with landowners on site control agreements for utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects
  4. Support development activities for both new and ongoing utility-scale renewable and energy storage projects in the company's portfolio
  5. Emphasize tax abatement, permitting, and environmental compliance in development activities

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. 3-5+ years of utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, battery storage, LNG, and/or natural gas experience
  2. Hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts for projects in the renewables, natural gas, LNG, or energy storage space
  3. Understanding of the RFP/RFI process in project development
  4. Knowledge of project siting, permitting, prospecting, and due diligence for utility-scale renewable projects
  5. Experience with site prospecting, land negotiations, and project financing initiatives
  6. Strong communication skills
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team-oriented environment
