Job summary

FluoRok Limited, an Oxford University spin-out, is developing safer, more sustainable fluorinating processes and scaling them for industrial impact. The Development Chemist will contribute to process development and work across both R&D laboratories and pilot-scale facilities.

The role encompasses leading experimental programs, tackling synthesis challenges, and collaborating with scientists to advance fluorination chemistry globally.

Qualifications

• Chemistry degree with 2+ years of relevant R&D experience.
• Experience with organic or inorganic synthesis.
• Right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Apply synthetic and analytical methodologies to develop industrially relevant fluorinated syntheses.
• Tackle R&D and process development challenges for fluorination chemistry.
• Design and execute experimental work in inorganic and/or organic synthesis.
• Take ownership of technical projects from concept to delivery.
