Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Chemical Engineer to join the New Product Development team in Kimberley, Canada. You will conceptualize, develop, and scale up new chemical products and processes, translating laboratory discoveries into commercially viable solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in NPD, scale-up, or chemical process design.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separation processes, and formulation science.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Kimberley.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and scale-up from laboratory to pilot and commercial scale.
• Conduct experimental investigations, process optimization studies, and feasibility analyses.
• Develop detailed process designs, PFDs, and P&IDs for new manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate closely with R&D scientists, product managers, and manufacturing teams.
