Salary Range: $56,000 - $65,000 / year + HOOPP

Here’s what you’ll do:

From donor acquisition and retention efforts to monthly and tribute giving programs, stewardship initiatives, and special events, you will help create exceptional donor experiences that deepen relationships and inspire philanthropic support. Your attention to detail, proactive mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement will ensure every donor interaction reflects the care and excellence at the heart of POGO's mission.

As a key member of our team, you will help plan, coordinate, and execute integrated annual giving campaigns across multiple channels, advancing fundraising goals and strengthening donor participation. You will also maintain strong data integrity, support accurate reporting, and track performance across revenue streams to inform strategy and drive results.

Annual Giving Program

• Serve as a primary point of contact for donor inquiries and outreach.
• Support the execution of integrated annual giving campaigns across mail, email, digital, monthly giving, and tribute giving channels.
• Support donor acquisition, onboarding, retention, and engagement strategies, including monthly, in-memory, and in-honour giving programs.
• Coordinate donor communications, stewardship, acknowledgements, impact reporting, and milestone touchpoints.
• Maintain seamless online donation experience by managing landing pages and web content.
• Track, analyze, and report on donor and campaign performance metrics, trends, and program results.
• Issue tax receipts, track activity and maintain accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge.

Data Management & Reporting

• Manage and maintain the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and quality through regular audits and updates.
• Generate database queries, reports, and analysis to support fundraising activities.
• Maintain donor interactions, call reports, and constituent records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Build, execute, and optimize digital fundraising and stewardship campaigns, including email deployment, donor journeys, audience segmentation, list management, automation workflows, and performance reporting.
• Prepare fundraising reports and dashboards, support budget tracking, and monitor revenue against targets and projections.
• Ensure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) fundraising and tax receipting regulations.

Fundraising Events

• Support planning, execution and evaluation of signature and community events.
• Provide administrative support for event platforms (Race Roster, OneCause, Trellis).
• Track registrations, RSVPs, and event logistics.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Provide senior administrative support to the Chief Development Officer.
• Support grant and proposal development by researching opportunities and prospects, and tracking submission deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with internal workflows, meeting logistics, and preparation of presentations and materials.
• Support Development Cabinet activities, including meeting preparation and follow-up.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

• Relevant college/university degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience working with data, maintaining accuracy, and deploying reports.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A warm, professional, and customer-service-oriented approach.
• Experience using a CRM or database system (e.g., Raiser’s Edge or similar) is needed.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable team player.
• Flexible schedule is required to accommodate weekend and evening events
• Valid driver’s license required and access to a vehicle desired. Light travel required.
