Job summary

The 401 Group is hiring an Automotive Detailer in Owen Sound, ON. This hands-on role focuses on making vehicles showroom-ready both inside and out. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, at a location on Sunset Strip with an $18.00 per hour compensation.

Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience.
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission.
• Effective organization and multi-tasking skills with precise attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior.
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors, including engine compartments.
• Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.
• Perform basic maintenance checks under the hood and around the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area with a final end-of-day clean-up.
• Power wash the floor as required.
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule.
• Support all team members when required.

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-obsessed Automotive Detailer to join our dynamic team! In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for making every vehicle look its absolute best—inside and out. Location: 202410 Sunset Strip, Owen Sound ON (Mitsubishi)

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous detailing experience
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission
