Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking a vehicle detailer at our Simcoe, Ontario location. You will hand-wash exteriors, clean interiors, and polish windows and lights to high standards. A valid G license and ability to drive both auto and manual transmissions are required.

You will also perform basic maintenance checks, maintain a clean work area, and support the team in daily production. We offer a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and perks.

• Previous detailing experience required.
• Valid G driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior.
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors, including engine compartments.
• Determine need for windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.
• Perform basic maintenance checks under the hood and around the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area with end-of-day cleanup.
• Power wash the floor as needed.
• May inventory cleaning supplies.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous detailing experience
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission
• Effective organization and multi-tasking skills with precise attention to detail
