Job summary

The 401 Group is hiring a Vehicle Detailer at our Simcoe location. You will wash, clean and protect vehicles, both inside and out, following a daily production schedule.

Requirements include previous detailing experience, a valid G driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions. Excellent organization and attention to detail are essential.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with competitive hourly pay and on-site parking.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Determine need for windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day
• Power wash the floor
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required
