Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking an Automotive Detailer for our Stratford, Ontario site. You will make vehicles showroom-ready by cleaning interiors and exteriors and detailing every surface.

Ideal candidates have detailing experience, a valid G license, and the ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions. Hours are Mon–Fri 8am–5pm with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience.
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission.
• Effective organization and multi-tasking skills with precise attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment.
• Polish, dry and clean windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior.
• Clean, protect, and preserve interiors and exteriors; engines too.
• Determine need for windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze.
• Perform basic maintenance checks under the hood and around the vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the day and final cleanup.
• Powerwash the floor as required to reduce dirt.
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned; work with daily production schedule.

Location: 640 Lorne Ave E Stratford

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or washing equipment
• Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interior
• Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors (i.e., carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e., wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper), as well as cleaning engine compartments

• Determine need for and addas necessarywindshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Maintain a clean and orderlyworkarea throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
• Powerwashthe floor, (to reduce the appearance of dirt) as required
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Work in accordance with daily production schedule
• Support all team members when required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous detailing experience
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean driving record
