Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited is seeking a student Information Systems intern to support incident and application issues, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to IT projects at the Calgary head office.

The role offers exposure to Windows, Citrix, Office 365, and enterprise tools, with a schedule of 5 days on, 2 off, 8 hours daily, for a 12-month term starting January 2027. Relates to the IS team and operations across rooms and devices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an Information Systems diploma/degree.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 11 including file systems, permissions, services and registry structures.
• Exposure to remote access tools like Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop; familiarity with printers, scanners, laptops, and Office 365 apps.
• Experience with web and remotely delivered applications; familiarity with Remedy or similar ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support incident and application issues; diagnose and resolve problems.
• Engage with IT and IS teams; emphasize communication and collaboration.
• Assist with IS projects, testing, documentation, or deployment tasks.
• Provide meeting room and AV support; assist with geoscience room tools.
• Support mobile devices; troubleshoot Android and iPhone; manage basic MDM tasks.
• Assist with printer fleet management including firmware updates and asset tracking.
