Canadian Natural invites a student in Information Systems to join the Head Office in Calgary for a 12-month IS internship. The role covers incident support, collaboration with IS teams, and project assistance, with hands-on AV/room support and printer management.

You will gain experience across Windows 11 environments, Citrix access, Office 365, and knowledge-base contributions while developing customer-focused skills in a dynamic energy industry setting.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in year 2–4 of an Information Systems diploma/degree.
• Experience with Windows 11 OS, Office 365, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, printers/scanners/laptops, and Remedy or similar ticketing systems.

• Incident & Application Support: diagnose and resolve issues with strong analytical skills.
• Customer & IS Team Engagement: communicate effectively, collaborate, and build relationships, with some in-person and remote work.

• Meeting Room & Specialized Room Support: hands-on AV and conferencing tech support and energy sector tools.

• Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday) for full-time schedule
• Term length: 12 months

• Term type: Part-time & Full-time

  • September – December: Part-time (Part-time being a maximum of 20 hours per week.)

  What You Bring to the Role:

  • Currently enrolled your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an Information Systems diploma/degree
  • IT Tools & Technologies experience with the following areas:
    • Hands‑on experience with, and an understanding of, the Windows 11 operating systems including: file systems, permissions, services and registry structures
    • Remote Access: Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
    • Hardware: Printers, scanners, laptops
    • Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Web and remotely delivered applications
    • Ticketing Systems: Remedy or similar
  • Additional IT Tools & Technologies considered an asset:
    • Application architectures such as standalone and client‑server
    • Networks and database systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL
    • Power BI, Visio, Oracle, SQL Developer or TOAD
    • Digital certificates for printers
    • Windows Server
